The purpose of "Saltman Quarterly" (SQ) is to provide a medium for undergraduate students at UCSD to publish biological research as well as communicate new advances in the field of biology, encompassing topics ranging from medicine to ecology. SQ also provides authors and staff members with the skills needed to communicate science effectively to both biology and non-biology majors.
